Hello,
I am currently setting up the Terminal Server collection (session host) testing environment, the collection included 3 session hosts(with load balance), 6 users, and the user profiles are located on a file server. All servers OS are the Windows Server 2016 Std eval.Recently I found that the "The disk x has the same identifiers as one or more disk connected to the system. Go to Microsoft's Support website (http://support.microsoft.com) and search for KB82983588 to resolve the issue." appeared in the system log of the session host. It happened on the hosts and users randomly. I checked the KB82983588 and I think it's not the multiple paths issue since we only have one physical hard drive for storing the user profile. For the VHDs, the user profile is created by the terminal server services, not by copy and paste.
So I have no idea how to find out the root cause of this issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
