I have a 2008 R2 RDS host in our DMZ, and a 20008 R2 RDS server with License Server on the LAN.
The DMZ RDS host is configured to connect to the LAN RDS License Server for the CALs.
It allows me to add the server without a problem, but somehow can't connect to it properly.
When I enter the credentials (an AD user account on the LAN) it can retrieve the information of the RDS License Server and show me I have 150 CALs.
But as soon as I close the console, and open it again, the connection has been lost.
As far as I know, we've openend the correct ports between the DMZ machine and the LAN machine, allowing the RDS License Server traffic.
What else could I have missed?
