Before we waste any more time on this I'd like to know if it's even possible.
We administer a suite of Server 2012 servers (DomainA) with some of those dedicated to RDS, which work fine for what we require. BUT.....
We've recently set up an external trust with a domain (DomainB) that we have zero control over. That domain has a bunch of XP clients and is generally where the users of our websites etc live.
We've been tasked to allow SSO users of DomainB direct access to RDS applications that we host. We don't want to create user accounts on our domain for the users of these applications, for several reasons, security being the main one.
Is this at all possible? At the moment the trust works fine for simple things like access to shares, but we can't get the servers to authenticate users from the other domain via remote desktop.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
