Hello,
We have a heavy duty Win2k12 r2 server with enough resources and would like many developers access it using remote desktop connection. I see few articles just talking about using local group policy editor. Most of the clients have Win 10 OS. Questions:
1. Will making changes to the local group policy editor and allowing say 10 connections instead of 1 would be the right way to connect or do we need to create a license server and enable RDS inside the concerned Win2k12 r2 server?
2. If we need to enable RDS inside the concerned Win2k12 r2 server and connect to the concerned license server, do we still need to make changes to the local group policy editor of the concerned Win2k12 r2 server?
3. Some articles talk about making changes to the registry to allow multiple connections. Is this also the right way?
4. If we need to have perpetual setup (beyond 120 days) and if we need to enable RDS on the concerned Win2k12 r2 server besides connecting to a license server, is there a good step-by-step documentation that shows this?
Will greatly appreciate your early response.
Thanks.
Victor
