I have a question about supplying remote desktops to our end users with Windows server 2012 R2 and I am having a very hard time finding someone who can answer. I am hoping you can provide help/direction.
We have about 70 users that will be connecting via thin clients and mstsc. At this point I have configured 1 CB and 2 session hosts. In dns I have created a name for our users to connect to and it has 2 entries 1 for each session host. So round robin dns.
Question, is this correct? If so how does the connection broker come in to play and know about the connections to the session hosts? I was also wondering if I should have created a session collection from the broker?
From server mgr, remote desktop services on the broker server it definitely knows about the session hosts as I deployed them from there so maybe that is how it will know about the connections.
Thanks for any help you could provide!
