We are looking to purchase a new Server, Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter Edition.
We are looking to use Hyper-V on it.
We will be hosting 3-4 Servers to begin with(increasing to more over time)
Anyway onto my query/question.
We are looking to host a Terminal Server virtual machine to allow up to 30 users connect to it via the LAN via RDP(using dumb terminals)
What kind of licensing do we need to get in addition to the 2012R2 Datacenter license? (if any)
We have an old 2008 Terminal Server virtual machine hosted on our old Hyper-V but checking licensing manager on the terminal server virtual machine it says "Installed TS Cals 0" so I'm not sure how the company has purchased licenses for this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
